Wayland surfaces can carry alpha; GTK_CSD=0 only disables GTK's default CSD. The flags rewrite decorations/transparent before window creation and can be dropped when the stack handles Overlay CSD + acrylic.

These flags are a compositor/WebKitGTK compatibility workaround: the effective behavior isdecorations=falseandtransparent=falsebefore window creation. They can be dropped when that stack handles Overlay CSD + acrylic.Flag names and
